Project delivery

How Powbank runs corporate technology projects

Powbank delivers charging and event technology as a clearly defined B2B project. We translate the requirement into a concrete configuration, record responsibilities and coordinate the agreed hardware, branding, suppliers and logistics.

The client issues a paid assignment. Powbank does not invest on the client's behalf and does not place equipment free of charge.

One point of contact, one clear project structure

A technology project can bring several elements together: product specifications, branding, production, transport, venue conditions and support. Powbank brings these elements into a single project scope with a single line of communication.

Before we start, we record which elements Powbank coordinates, which information the client supplies, and which responsibilities sit with the venue, stand builder, agency or other parties involved.

Scope

Hardware, quantities, execution, branding and services are specified up front.

Planning

Decision moments, delivery deadlines and operational milestones are captured in a project schedule.

Responsibilities

The role of Powbank, the client, the venue and any partners is agreed in advance.

Handover

Check points and acceptance conditions are matched to the type of project.

The project process

  1. 1

    Intake

We gather information on the use case, venue, date, duration, visitor flow, branding, technical setup and required support.

  2. 2

    Configuration

Powbank selects a suitable solution and confirms which product and branding options are available for the project.

  3. 3

    Proposal and scope

The proposal sets out the agreed hardware, services, prices, exclusions, planning and responsibilities.

  4. 4

    Technical and creative review

Product specifications, artwork files, connections and venue conditions are checked before production or preparation starts.

  5. 5

    Preparation and coordination

Once the assignment is confirmed, Powbank coordinates the agreed suppliers, branding, configuration and logistics.

  6. 6

    Delivery and functional check

The solution is delivered according to the agreed scope. The agreed functions and visible project elements are checked.

  7. 7

    Completion

For rentals, return and any damage inspection are handled. For purchases, the agreed warranty, service and handover terms apply.

Quality control

Quality control is matched to the type of hardware and the project scope. Which checks are carried out must be clear before the assignment is confirmed.

  • Verification of product and quantities
  • Visual inspection for transport damage
  • Check of the agreed branding
  • Check of available connections
  • Functional start-up check
  • Check of supplied components
  • Recording of visible deviations
  • Handover in line with the agreed project specification

Product-specific certificates, test reports and technical documentation are only stated when they are demonstrably available for the offered configuration.

Change management

If the venue, planning, branding or product scope changes after the assignment is confirmed, Powbank assesses the impact on price, availability and delivery. A change only becomes part of the assignment once it has been confirmed in writing.

  1. 1The change is reported
  2. 2Impact on planning, price and feasibility is assessed
  3. 3The revised scope is confirmed in writing

Support and escalation

The proposal states which level of support is part of the assignment. This can differ between delivery, rental, purchase, temporary projects and multi-location rollouts.

An operational point of contact is agreed for every project. When an issue arises, impact, urgency and possible resolution are assessed first. Replacement, on-site attendance or additional work applies only where it has been agreed.

Escalation structure
  1. 1. Operational question
  2. 2. Technical assessment
  3. 3. Impact on the project or usage
  4. 4. Resolution or alternative
  5. 5. Written closure where relevant

Working with multiple parties

Powbank can work alongside organisers, agencies, venues, stand builders, AV parties, brands and external suppliers. For each project we record who holds decision authority and through which party changes are approved.
